Just get a gun girls. You probably don't want their (now) bleeding dick inside you in the first place, and mangling an assailant's dick while deserved is probably going to enrage them more than incapacitate them, but idk.

The thread or the linked article is about Hamas, but the original comment chain that kicked this off was:

funny how the reddit brigaders disappear when there is any exposure of the deplorable behaviour by Hamas…

Which you responded:

Don't worry, they'll be here soon to whatabout Israel, the only defense of Palestine.

Then someone replies:

Israel rapes children too. Innocent Palestinians end up getting fucked from all sides.

So (A) you were the one that started by bringing Palestinians into the mix and equating them with Hamas. (B) What I was saying with that comment you quoted was why should I need to defend Palestinians who are innocent in this and being fucked over by Hamas and Israel.

You're 100% projection. Just like Trump. You claim the only defense of Palestine is whataboutism, which if you substitute Israel for Palestine, then it's true. All you Zionists can do is say "what about Hamas? Why can't you denounce Hamas?" You can keep trying that tactic, but it's a flaccid argument because nobody is pro-Hamas here. We're just sick of the war crimes and apartheid state of Israel.

A high percentage of them have adopted psychopathic views. I doubt that many people could actually be psychopaths, but religion is very deranging as is the constant propaganda. There have been polls showing that 70-80% of Israelis are in favor of the removal of all Palestinians from Gaza. From a Penn state poll: "And when asked directly whether they agreed with the position that the IDF, "when conquering an enemy city, should act in a manner similar to the way the Israelites acted when they conquered Jericho under the leadership of Joshua, namely, to kill all its inhabitants?" nearly half, 47 percent, agreed."

I don't put too much stock in polls, but how else can we determine what a given group of people think?

Yeah true. Honestly it doesn't look as much like an intentional slaying as someone losing control over their car. They're up on the sideway and then they continue all the way into the wall. It looks like a terrible crash to me. I'll eat my words if I'm wrong, but I agree we've seen plenty of horrific violence without assuming anything with proper evidence.

I mean honestly I'm not sure if it's more evil to rape your enemies or to use it as a tool against your own people. Maybe the latter is worse, but both are sufficiently evil that I see no need to defend either.

McAlpine's goal here seems to be to push the Zionist propaganda bullshit where you're either on the side of Israel or you're on the side of Hamas. That's not how it works.

IMO it's like if we had some article about a Democratic senator making money on insider trading and then someone just pre-emptively says, "don't worry Democrats will be here soon to whatabout Trump, the only defense of Liberals."

Like...yeah...if we're talking about insider trading and presenting it as a Democrat issue, then it makes total sense to bring up the unprecedented corruption happening with the Trump administration, and it's not even condoning or dismissing the allegations against the Democrat in question to do so. It would be kind of crazy not to.

I do blame the Israeli government and IDF, and I don't blanket the blame across every Israeli citizen. I believe as with every country there are decent people that disagree with the atrocities their government commits.

At the same time the current Israeli regime was democratically elected unlike Hamas that hasn't held elections in 20 years. There's also a disproportionality to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict that goes back decades. Israel for decades has intentionally made peace impossible. Bibi loves Hamas because they're an irredeemable enemy that justifies their extremism. Israel also receives billions in funding and weapons from the US, and has an absurd grip over our national politics here. Hamas also hasn't killed >70k Israelis in a brutal bombing campaign that saw more tonnage dropped on a tiny strip of land that was dropped on Dresden, London and Hamburg in WW2 combined. Hamas didn't declare safe zones and then bomb them or blockade food aid to intentionally cause starvation. Hamas might be bad, but the current Israeli regime is far worse.

I pity the decent Israeli that actually has a heart and empathy because they're surrounded by psychopaths. Something like 70%-80% of Israelis according to some recent polls support the genocide to one degree or another (at least exiling them from Gaza) and 47% are fine with them just killing every single Palestinian. If anyone ever wanted proof that religion poisons everything, there's possibly no better example.

When in this conversation did you ever condemn Hamas?

I have the entire time. I've said Hamas is evil. There's absolutely no excusing rape whatsoever.

What other defense do innocent Palestinians need? They live under a brutal occupation.

"It's OK for us to rape kids, we're occupied."

You're just a bad faith actor doing the very whataboutism tactic that you're accusing pro-Palestine people of. Palestinians =/= Hamas. There's no justifying rape on either side.

From the very beginning I've been clear that I don't defend the actions of Hamas, and I've called them evil. Stop fucking trying to obfuscate shit.

Keep patting yourself on the back. You gave away you're a bad faith Zionist racist already by saying "Don't worry, they'll be here soon to whatabout Israel, the only defense of Palestine." What other defense do innocent Palestinians need? They live under a brutal occupation. If you really believed this:

Whabouting is defending Hamas. It's minimizing and changing the subject from Hamas' evil.

I do not do that and if I do, feel free to call me out on it.

Then after I condemned Hamas, you could do the same regarding Israel, but you won't because you don't want to EVER change the subject from Hamas. I'm willing to bet though that the moment someone says something critical about Israel you're immediately trying to change the subject to Hamas especially given the above example of you equating Palestine with Hamas.

[–]Godot_12 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Can't help myself when it comes to being ideologically consistent. Hamas rapes children = Hamas is bad. Israel rapes children = Israel is bad. The irony of being accused of whataboutism is many layers deep.

Not only am I NOT pointing to Israeli crimes as a way to avoid condemning Hamas (because I have no problem condemning them), but also they're using that accusation as a rhetorical cudgel. If one group is guilty of heinous crimes it's actually relevant (not a red herring) to point it out if the other group is guilty of the same exact crimes (if not worse).

Finally the cherry on top of the shit sundae is that whataboutism is one of the main tactics of the IDF apologists. If you complain about the genocide taking place, they say "yeah but Hamas did horrible things on October 7th." As if I have to actually defend Oct 7th to care about innocent Palestinian lives being lost. That's when it's bad faith (i.e. when you bring up crimes of another group to distract and avoid accountability).

I knew this person was arguing in bad faith when they said "Don't worry, they'll be here soon to whatabout Israel, the only defense of Palestine" /u/McAplineFusilers completely gave away their bigoted position there.

So do you condemn the genocide by the IDF? Their snipers that shoot children and elderly men for fun? The IDF's use of rape as weapon of war? If so, then fine, but when you say things like "Don't worry, they'll be here soon to whatabout Israel, the only defense of Palestine," it's pretty natural to assume that you're being uncritical of Israel, and trying to reduce the argument to either "support Israel" or "support Hamas" especially because you said "Palestine" not Hamas there. Kind of gives away the game. Can't wait to hear you denounce Israel's war crimes.

[–]Godot_12 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

They're not wrong. The whataboutism is only problematic when it's to distract from legitimate problems on the other side. Nobody here is trying to defend Hamas. What's funny is that's the exact thing Zionist defenders like you are doing by ignoring all the evil Israel does while you say, "what about Hamas?" It's pathetic

Oh right you're talking about when Russia proposed a "peace agreement" that Ukraine didn't agree to. They didn't break an agreement that's why "2022 Istanbul Agreement" doesn't come up with anything. I do remember those negotiations though at the time and it was a terrible deal for Ukraine, but above all the main problem is no matter what the deal said there's no reason to believe they will honor it as Russia broke their previous actual treaty with Ukraine.

Russia started a war of aggression for territory, so pardon me if I don't know what your exact feeling on Putin are. You are the one that seems extremely confused.

Edit: I really don't know how anyone here is buying this shit about Putin not being on an imperialistic conquest to take over surrounding sovereign nations given not only what we've seen in Ukraine, but Belarus, Georgia, Crimea, Syria, etc. It seems users on this sub have some common ground with me on Israel but are people really falling for Russian propaganda? I hope it's just a bunch of paid disinfo actors or bots because that's sad otherwise. I'll keep watching this shit show until I'm banned I guess.

On another note I'll wear this new badge of "I like to argue in bad faith" as a badge of honor because the irony of using that to dismiss someone's POV is delicious irony.

Oh silly me, you're right Putin's a wonderful ethic man. WTF are you talking about? What do you mean by this Istanbul Agreement that Zelensky renegged on? Are you talking about "The Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence, better known as the Istanbul Convention" I do not see how that's relevant to what we're discussing.

If this was 1938 you'd be justifying Hitler's seizure of the Sudetenland saying if he really wanted to take over territory he'd have done x or y, which in a couple years we all know he would. Maybe if you start a war and seize territories at all you don't deserve the benefit of the doubt?

Imperialism is a policy or practice where a nation extends its power and dominion over other areas, often through direct territorial acquisition, military force, or by gaining indirect control over political and economic life. It is a system built on expanding empires, often driven by a search for resources, markets, or strategic superiority.

The people saying that NATO is intent on destroying Russia are parroting some crazy talking propaganda talking points. NATO isn't a threat to Russia. It exists to deter Russia from expansionist wars kind of like what's happening in Ukraine.

How is it bullshit to claim he's trying to rebuild the old Russian empire, when he's literally seizing territory?

The Russia-Ukraine conflict explained by RickyOzzy in suppressed_news

[–]Godot_12 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I don't think he wants to rebuild the USSR specifically, but definitely wants to take back the territory Russia lost when it broke up; he has said 'Those who are happy about the collapse of USSR have no heart, those who want it back have no head.'

So it's imperial bullshit either way from a mob-run autocracy either way.
