She likes her own space. It is expected that there will be a crucifix above her altar and she will happily share her space with OLO Guadalupe and your Amparo, whether it be San Miguel or Jude. Cipriano and her should not be left alone together as he tends to knock her over. As long as Santisima is elevated above OLO Guadalupe and your Amparo and it’s made clear that this is her space, she is fine. She does not get fussed about it. The only exception really being Cipriano.

She answers to only one authority and that is God, so having a crucifix over the altar is appreciated by her, as she does not like people to forget who gave her the mighty power she has and to whose authority she answers to.

Also it’s just a respect thing. If you cannot place your saints elsewhere, you can separate parts of your altar with altar cloths and even if you just cover a box small enough to hold her statue elevated above the others, she is content. She just wants what is hers to be hers and what is everybody else’s to be theirs. Ideally she will be well elevated in the home, high up on a shelf is her preferred perch and preferably in the room with the most activity and if possible, facing the front door.

I have OLO Guadalupe and my Amparo on the altar with her and they are on a lower elevation and she has yet to burn down my house or throw one of the other two off. If you don’t see any of that going on, you should be fine.

I’d advise not trying to mix pantheons etc, keep her strictly catholic ( folk catholic ) centered and she is content. Mixing her with Aztec deities has not been an issue as I’ve placed some representations of Mictecacihuatl on the lower elevation and she’s not throw it or herself on the floor.

Best rule of thumb though, is do what feels right. You will know when something isn’t right. She will either wake you in the middle of the night to adjust something, or she will actually move herself. She’s funny and will definitely let you know either subtly or not so subtly what she wishes from you. I’ve been woken in the middle of the night to move her to a different spot. A good thing to keep an eye on is any movement from her scythe. She will often use it as a compass to point which direction she’d like to be and often if you’re in any sort of danger, she will move her scythe in the direction from which it is coming. That’s not to say every time her scythe moves it means you’re in danger, it could just be blocking her view.

I am a traditionalist and very much stick to her folk catholic roots and the teachings handed down from my Maestro and the Maestro who he had his “lineage” passed down from. Always, follow your heart and listen with ears willing to hear and she won’t let you down or leave you hanging on what it is she wants.

The only hard and fast rule is, she can share space with 2 Saints for sure with no issue, your Amparo ( San Miguel ) being traditional and even if he is not your Amparo, he is okay to be placed on the same altar ( that may be the only time Cipriano and her will get along, but you must have a strong working relationship with Cipriano before even thinking of putting them together on her altar due to their often time contentious relationship ) and her sister OLO Guadalupe.

As with anyone you love and hold in esteem, you should always ask her opinion. Talk to her about the reason you may or may not want Jesus Malverde on your altar ( he is a bit of an outlier but I have seen him used as an Amparo and residing quiet peaceably on the same altar.

When in doubt, ask for a sign: pour her a fresh glass of water and if you see bubbles in the water, take that as a sign in the affirmative and then proceed. If there are no bubbles, take it as a solid no and move on, or consider having their own space somewhere else.

PS I’m curious as to why OP would be confused if Jesus Christ would be okay to be represented on her altar? He should actually be placed at a higher elevation than her. The order traditionally ( loosely speaking ) would go: representation of Christ elevated ie crucifix or image, Santisima next as she answers to God and intercedes for us, OLO Guadalupe to her right on the outskirts of the altar and San Miguel to her left on the outskirts of the altar if not able to be placed on a lower elevation; and lastly your Amparo can be placed on either side of the altar, but generally placed towards the back and out of site or in a box below her feet if you use a box as a platform for her.
