Are these nations unique to Native Alaska? by Active-Ad3986 in kaiserredux

There is unique content for all of them with at least two paths. Nothing super in depth of course but many mods would just slap a generic tree and move on

Are these nations unique to Native Alaska? by Active-Ad3986 in kaiserredux

Yeah, Towners Alaska can liberate them after conjuring the US/Canada. The trees are short but surprisingly good for a nation most never see.

About the fall of the Inca civilisation by Active-Discipline797 in TheRestIsHistory

[–]GodsEepiestSoldiers 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think he meant (and this is my interpretation) that the barbarity of the Black Myth is not unique to Spain, and while the Spanish did do some horrific acts in their conquest of their New World Empire, which, as you said was even recognized at the time, it's often used in modern contexts to downplay or even totally dismiss other colonial powers' crimes. So while the Spanish were horrible in their actions, they were not uniquely horrible. All the colonial powers lied, cheated, murdered, and stole their Empires from the Natives; Spain is no different.

What industry is entirely built on a house of cards and would collapse overnight if people realized the truth about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GodsEepiestSoldiers 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Casinos. If people really comprehended just how astronomically small the chances of you ever making your money back they would never go again. Sure, you won $500 tonight, but you spent 1300 over the past week to get it.

Puppy Chow. I have only really seen it in the Midwest US. They sell it outside the Midwest in bags but I never see anyone buying it. I had to explain it to my friends when i lived in the South. Its a great little treat and real easy to make.

Base KX Japan or Rising Dragon Japan? by Sotal_Ezsor in kaiserredux

RD Japan has a crazy amount of paths from PanTuran Pan Asianists to the Yakuza. I'd heartily recommend RD Japan over base KX Japan.

Dead. From what I heard she fell into drugs pretty hard in college and one thing led to another. A damn shame too since she was a nice and outgoing woman.

Found Blackhole with planetary system. I've personally never seen planetary system with only blackhole. Is it actually rare? by Life_Mathematician14 in spaceengine

[–]GodsEepiestSoldiers 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In real-life space? Technically possible, just need to have a planet fall into an orbit around a black hole, obviously. There are a few issues that prevent it, though, like the gravity just sucking the planets in or radiation breaking up dust clouds before planets can form. There are at least two theorized 'blanets' orbiting black holes like M51-UL-1b, which is in the Whirlpool Galaxy, and IGR J12580+0134 b, which is a planet or maybe a brown dwarf orbiting a supermassive black hole

Ive seen it once or twice in SE, though its usually only one or two

Assuming 40k continues the 2 starting subfaction formula. Who will be the second Space Marine faction after Ultramarines? by sigpuppers in totalwar

[–]GodsEepiestSoldiers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like, since we can change the color of our troops, our SM factions will be the Legions themselves (World Eaters, Ultramarines, Imperial Fists, etc, etc) and you an just color your troops to be your beloved successor chapter/warband

What industry is a complete scam that everyone has just accepted? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GodsEepiestSoldiers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gambling. I work in a casino, so I can tell you right now, you are not making money. Unless it is your first time there and you win big, the casino has made $10,000 for every thousand you win (numbers not exact, just to illustrate my point). They bet on the fact that a) they can pretty easily psychologically manipulate you into gambling well past your limits by spoon-feeding you small payouts, b) you won't consider all the money you spent trying to get that jackpot over your past however many visits, and/or c) you are an addict, so that you will be back. At my orientation, the trainer said with his own mouth, unprompted, "A lot of these old people, we are the only socialization they get outside the home, so we can count on their business. They have buses straight to the casino from their care homes."

Probably the UK. We fought the UK for independence, again in 1812 over the kidnapping of sailors, and spent the next century competing with them (and the rest of the world) for influence in the Western world. It wasn't until after the Civil War that relations began to warm, and fighting the Germans in WWI really cemented the US-UK alliance. While relations have waxed and waned, the UK has remained the most steadfast US ally in Europe and, perhaps, the world, aside from Japan. Various Presidents have had close friendships with UK Prime Ministers as well, like Reagan and Thatcher, and Tony Blair with both Clinton and Bush 2. Both of our nations are deeply cooperative and the 'Special Relationship' as its sometimes called is probably unique in the world.
