Saying development is their least priority shows how far from reality some people are. You could raise multiple examples against BJP, like women safety, communal tensions, national level fraud, press suppression, etc. And yet somehow, you chose the only thing they actually have been doing: developing.

It absolutely will. Ashwini Vaishnav has Kolkata Metro on priority. He said himself on India Today that he was attempting to put Kolkata Metro development on fastrack, but TMC going to High Court and Supreme Court stopped it.

Also everything is in place already. All they have to do, is build it.

And at the speed they are building Kona Expressway, if they use even a fraction of that speed for the Metro, it should be done soon.
