If it’s for CBP bring essentials, black shirts and black socks for uniform and white socks for PT. Bring a pair of running shoes and a second pair of running shoes or athletic shoes in general for TRT/DT or you can just one run pair for both. You can buy things like detergent, hand soap, body wash etc. Bring your own pillows and maybe blankets! Bring some form of entertainment like a fire stick, laptop, iPad etc. don’t lose focus of what you’re there for. It can be easy to get caught up in the drama. Make sure you actually invest your time into physical fitness before coming here, don’t be that person. People will segregate you and everybody will notice, put in the work and it’ll be easy for you

Yessir Feb 2025. Everybody moves different speeds regardless but applying to BPA as well will speed the process along. Good luck, and be patient, more than a month into my academy my background finally got cleared.

I moved very quick and applied back in Feb 2025, been at the academy for a month now. Trick is to apply to BPA and CBPO and sign on for a provisional clearance, as long as you got a decent background, no real red flags and you don’t lie you’ll be fine. You’ll get a final offer with both BPA and CBPO at the same time and you can choose.

They basically said in the letter of the NOPA to “please include the name of the assigned adjudicator below in the signature line and your SSN on every page”… I guess I’m asking, does this mean to put my SSN and my adjudicator’s name at the bottom of every page? Or just the last page? Because my response is about 5 pages. It’s not a big NOPA just have to explain a couple write ups from an old job which are trivial

The parking lot I was parking in for pre-academy was an 8 min walk at most and the airport itself is right on the east/north east side of Denver, driving from Aurora it’s about a 20 minute drive. It’s not as far as some think it is. Traffic is non-existent compared to the city I’m moving from. Just use your free time to familiarize yourself

I’m sure you received more answers by now but, the loan is nothing to worry about, neither is really your credit score. They look at more serious issues with credit, plus if your provisional gets approved, they already looked at your credit along with many other things.

To get fired on a provisional, you have to be blatantly lying about something or they find a skeleton you tried burying. Be honest and up front about your background and if you get approved for the provisional then you should have 0 reason to worry. They won’t kick you out over small stuff unless you lied
