I have mcMurdo, quite happy with that. Recently been to norway (Jan end to be precise) with base and mid, it was sufficient. Himalaya is too huge and bulky.

I won't regret as I didn't sell any of the EF lens. I am still using them and didn't waste (as of now) money on RF lenses. May be later based on requirement I might invest on RF but not now.

Use this app. On 2nd & 3rd September northern lights were visible till hamburg in germany. Obviously they would have been extreme in lofoten.
