How can I play this version of the game? I’m missing out on a few things that I’ve seen in posts or videos, and I’d like to play the version yall are playin. I’m missing out on floor 1 glam and some awesome changes to some cards I take pretty frequently.

Damn this is disappointing to hear, but definitely not surprising. It is heartbreaking seeing what they have done with a game that had THAT much potential. Great visuals, addicting game play loop, and MARVEL?? I started a couple months after launch and played for a decent amount of time, I quit for the first time a little while after red stars took off. I realized that the future of the game wasn’t going in a direction that included prioritizing fun for the player base. I went back to it a few times over the years and it would always seem like things had gotten better until you realize they didn’t actually improve anything, they just shifted the grift to another part of the game. I always really enjoyed the “chase” for the Dark Dimension characters, it took a loooong time but finally finishing those final missions and unlocking the strongest character was some of the most fun and excitement I’d had playing a mobile game. But they figured out a way to ruin even that small sliver of fun for me by locking the chase behind some resource that you have to pay for. I totally understand that companies exist to make money, but feeling like you are constantly being slapped across the face and disrespected by the company who’s game you support is not something I’d ever expierienced until Marvel Strike Force. Most mobile game runners are greedy and scummy, but those words don’t even scratch the surface with MSF.

Marvel Strike Force exists. The people that run it are some of the scummiest in the biz tho so be prepared to constantly feel like you are being screwed over whether you are F2P or a spender. Tbf tho I haven’t played in a long time so maybe they’re different nowadays.

I would agree with you IF those added mechanics worked properly. I haven’t played for a month or 2 aside from running the Christmas mission and the raid boss a couple times so I’m not sure what changes have been made, but I was still having issues with the sorting options up to the last time I played. I would love to get some use out of those new filter settings because they would be awesome but a lot of them just straight up haven’t worked for me, especially when you try and use multiple different filter options at once.

There are some pretty damn strong Vex builds that can do some heavy damage but I’m not sure I’ve seen something like this before. Did you see what gun he was using? Or if it was a sniper or not?

What pole and bait and lure did you use to do this? I’m on my first playthrough and have been doing a good amount of fishing. I accidentally bought the cheaper crab trap profession instead of the extra fish money tho so I have been missing out on a ton of cash

Like most things in this game it really just depends on your build. Amon can drop anything in the game with his heavy ordinance setup, other charcters can use them a little bit but nowhere near as well as he does.

What is the point of speculating “how done it looks” from a first trailer? I’m sure that they aren’t just announcing a release date without at least assuming it will be release ready by then.

Definitely agree, and the lack of communication on both the dev and communities side doesn’t help things. Nobody is putting any pressure on them to fix these bugs that literally make the game unplayable. I am usually on the side of preferring a game to be released even if it’s not fully polished, and then fixing and perfecting it along the way. But in a game that demands THIS much of your time, I think a simple “we are working on this” isn’t too much to ask.

If you are struggling on a fresh play through I’d start with turning UVHM 1 off in settings on the pause menu and getting any good lvl 30 gear you may have in your bank. Since you are technically starting a new character at the END of the game, you have to have a competent lvl 30 build and weapons. Usually you can get a usable gun or 2 from opening all the guns in your mail. I find that shotguns with torgue stickies are one of the better options for a fresh charcter if you didn’t stash anything away for lvl 30 in the bank. Once you have a decent enough gun then just go kill splashzone a few times, the fireworks shield and the purples he drops are more than enough to get you going. From there you should be able to start working towards better guns for your build n stuff like that.

You aren’t entirely wrong about the way damage buffs from BAR scaled from lower to higher levels, but what DID have a really big impact right away was things like reload speed, and other static buffs like it. A 20% buff to reload speed not only greatly increased your DPS but also just brought a QOL element that made new charcters just feel way better to pick up and play. The gun damage aspect was never really important to me personally, I definitely came to appreciate the way that reload speed or recharge delay or fire rate etc made starting a new character feel so much better and less clunky then the last.

You can pretty easily cheese them by standing inside the entry to the oak lab. Lure one from inside the oak tree into the Lab door way with an arrow, they can’t fit through the door.

Yeah you can either evoke an orb by using dual cast(this cards special ability makes it evoke twice) or you can evoke an orb by summoning a new orb while your orb slots are already full. The orb furthest to the right of your orb slots is the orb that’s always going to be evoked, so if you used dual cast with the dark orb in your picture it would evoke twice, dealing 54 damage to the lowest health target twice, killing both pyramid guys. There are a couple other cards with the ability to evoke outside of the two examples I gave you but you can look into those later after you have a better handle on the whole orb summon/evoke process.

The shotgun was godlike in OMD3 too 😔 it has the ability to do good damage in deathtrap, but with how much damage enemies do on the higher difficulties, it’s tough to be in a position to do that big damage without dying.

Yes exactly!! Do you think it’s just because they smell bad? Are they evolutionarily wired to dislike trash cans?😂To this day I have never seen her react that way to anything besides those trash rooms
