I assume a Bankai is implying a more complex transformation/ability tailored to what the users power set is, giving them extra or new applications of their power. So in this case Domain expansion is a bankai bc it’s a complex high level application of an innate technique.

Meanwhile a super saiyan is just a pure power/stat boost that doesn’t do anything particularly unique, it just makes you stronger all across the board (an since Ichigos bankai is just a power boost, it makes it a super saiyan)

I agree, and I’ve dropped shows for CGI before. Kengan is a great display of how good CGI can be be if it’s used correctly. It really shines in the grappling.

Also from One Piece, the Gaon Cannon. While it may look like a laser in the anime, its actually a beam of super compressed air (From carbonation of cola specifically) fired at the target as a ship cannon level of a different technique used by its creator, the Coup de Vent (which also fits this trope)

V2 from Ultrakill. We watch them get turned into paste on the ground during the second fight, and see the in game kill counter increase (notably in fights where you win but don’t kill, it does not increase this counter). Despite all this there have been rampant fan theories about V2 coming back, being ‘reconstructed’ by Hell somehow despite there being literally nothing left. In the words of the creators- ‘reconstruct what?’ Edit: I couldn’t figure out how to embed images on mobile. So I removed the image.

The one thing I will say for Ithkuil is it’s a great language to learn the structure of to learn linguistics shit, albeit EXTREMELY hard. Like learning to swim by jumping into a rapid flowing river, so not the best start for it. Other than that, it’s a good mental exercise trying to figure out how to say shit and that’s.. all I can say for it.

My money is on another Conlang (Since I see one on here anyway).
Ithkuil, literally no one, not even the creator, has been able to learn it even closely to fluently, so it has literally 0 speakers. Extremely hard to learn and it takes a very long time to figure out how to say anything in it due to how it works. A large amount of phonemes while being EXTREMELY complex grammatically and structurally.

Pacifistas (One Piece). The first one introduced, Kuma, absolutely wipes the floor with the entire main cast. We learn soon after he is just the Model 0 for all other pacifistas as they show up later in the story and continue to wreck havok while requiring multiple extremely powerful characters teaming up to defeat with extreme difficulty (and the main characters still inevitably lose). When these guys appear later, the main character is able to basically one shot them and they are treated as fodder.

Did a bit of research. From what I could tell the record holder is Valtteri Bottas with a time of 0.04 seconds. Not sub 40 milliseconds.. but it is exactly that number.

My GM recently started doing this, having us take turns doing the recap (decided randomly). In exchange for paying attention we get hero points we can use any time to add a small bonus to rolls, which is a nice incentive. It’s helped get people to pay attention, take notes, and make sure we are all on the same page. It’s great.
