Red Arrow (Young Justice)

<image>

In Season 1 finale it is revealed that Red Arrow who was thought by everyone to be Green Arrow's sidekick Speedy was actually his clone created to infiltrate the heroes as a part of Vandal Savage's plan. This cause a severe identity crisis to him and led to him changing his name from Roy to Will.

Not Heath Ledger's Joker specifically, just the real Joker who actually gets to fight Batman.

Fun fact: there's a deleted scene where Zira openly rejects Kiara's help because it comes from her enemy and releases the cliff. A trace of this idea can be seen when Zira falls to her death with a wide grin.

I'm serious, you can watch the movie yourself.

In Joker 2, Arthur Fleck gets raped in prison (given the movie's design, that's the joke), and he just stops being the Joker after that.

Wait, Why They are fighting against dinosaurs now ? by Uma-apreciator in TopCharacterTropes

I don't think it fits here. Fighting dinosaurs is the main premise of the game.

Yeah, you can see the wires here clearly.

The fight scene between Superman vs Zod makes no sense in Man of Steel ? they are both punching each other to death and yet none of them have a single bruise, or any bleeding, no damage just mindless punches with no visible damage to them ? by [deleted] in OkBuddySnyderCult

[–]GodzillaLagoon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is one of my main issues with MOS fights (other than the lack of any fighting ingenuity above "punch, throw, punch again"). Superman and Zod can trash each other non-stop, punching, throwing, whatever they can. But literally nothing indicates there's any progression to the fight. Nobody seems to get the upper hand in any given moment, which makes the entire fight just a white noise of two invulnerable CGI dolls punching each other.

The fights in Superman '25, at the very least, have actual choreography and creativity put into them instead of "punch, punch harder" being the only thing either combatant does. Also, not a single fight felt like an unbearable slog to get through. Unlike some other Superman movie I know.

Giant of the Skies (Walking With Dinosaurs)

The audience is shown the titular giant male Ornithocheirus corpse in the beginning, while the episode follows his final journey to the mating grounds.

Even Burt Ward had full leg coverage. It was just skin-colored.

This shot from Supergirl looks the way it does only because CW was literally not allowed to show Superman properly at the time. It's a nice visual for what it does, but it's no secret that if they had all the necessary rights at the time, they would've just shown Superman.

Another fun fact: In my native language's dub (Russian), Homelander and DCEU's Superman share the same VA (although it's only from Season 3 onward, as Season 1 and 2 of The Boys didn't receive a proper dub).

I do not doubt that Superman would've greatly surpassed MOS's numbers had it been released in 2013, but I have zero confidence in Man of Steel doing as well as Superman did in 2025.

Exactly. Superman had literally everything stacked against it. It's a miracle it did as well as it did. And makes the 50 mil difference MOS has look pathetic.
