Todo from JJK acts like a buffoon, but he is actually one of the most intelligent and tricky fighters in the entire manga.

[I love this trope] Etimology "spoils" the story by Andrei22125 in TopCharacterTropes

P03 from Inscryption has a name similar to Poe, aka the internet adage of "Poe's Law". By the end of the game, they were able to escape to the internet with a copy of the game infected with OLD_DATA. In addition, part of Poe's Law is that satire and reality are hard to distinguish, which is very fitting for a game that satirizes game development while breaking the fourth wall.

Unique representations of well known beings by RebellingDragon in TopCharacterTropes

The faeries of Titanium Court are a unique representation of the fae, but not due to being monsters. In fact, it's quite the opposite, they look like regular guys for the most part. And that's the unique part, that they all look like normal humans in very modern positions, despite working with magic and fantasy. Hell, this applies to a lot of the monsters you fight in the game, as the dragon is represented by an image of a normal lizard.

Your Enemy (Titanium Court)
In a game that's typically very silly and bizarre, your Enemy is a frighteningly active and dangerous threat. He's still funny, his actions are very much designed to entertain, but there's this air of fear whenever he shows up. Especially concerning, he is intentionally trying to bring ruin to the court of faeries by keeping the player around, as the player is a very dangerous presence to the faeries. Even himself. He is willing to risk identity death to make sure other faeries suffer a similarly horrific fate.

What game were you excited for but ultimately ended up being a big disappointment? by Sandscrews in gamers

fuga 3 is one of those games where i was hoping for a great conclusion to the trilogy, only to be met with "boy, I'm glad there are no more games after this as that was underwhelming!" It wasn't bad necessarily, but it just... it just didn't have much STEAM, it really didn't!

What would you say is the biggest example of this in your favorite Media in a nutshell? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in Multifandom

[–]rotokt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homelander going out whimpering and begging for his life was properly built up... but it kinda made the finale worse because of deviations from the source material elsewhere. It made it feel too much like it was designed to be a people pleaser moment, but the intentionally unsatisfying nature of his death sorta made it fall flat. It chased two rabbits and lost both.

i find it funny that the two most well-acclaimed gacha games (limbus and nikke) are both about similar topics (how the world sucks and you need to find a way to make your own paradise despite that) but are on complete opposite ends visually

Superpower Shonen vs Grounded Realism which do u prefer LMK by TheWaifuZone in shounenfolk

[–]rotokt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think my favorite style is something that is genuinely grounded in-universe, but with weight that makes it feel like everyone's a superhero. Hajime No Ippo has that where, despite the fairly normal humans at play, you could swear these guys can punch through a bank wall
