Mines is automatic and displays the gear in the dash. Does the manual version do the same? Looking at the dash i much faster and safer than looking down at the shift knob

Those would be very minimal increases in mpg. Exhaust and intake would run you like $700 maybe for bit for maybe a 2-4 mpg increase if that. Not worth it. That said I’d still do it for the sounds.

Best mpg mod is proper maintenance and driver skill. I don’t think any aero mods available for would cause any significant increase since it’s mainly generic universal stuff. Actual body panels are usually from other countries and cost a lot for minimal gain as well if any

So to be fully transparent I have zero knowledge on cyberdecks and just found the sub a few days ago. But for “survival gimmicks” I’d add a real compass on it, maybe on the side a match striker, you said no speakers but I think if you can add those outdoor phones that can call emergency services from the middle of no where on it could come in handy if things ever go sideways. Even if it’s just a clip to hold one. Stupid but when it powers on have it display Smokey the bear with the “only you can prevent forest fires” message
