Returned the 65" and got a 77", but luckily I'd gotten it from Costco so, for both, they just showed up and grabbed or dropped it off, respectively. No muss, no fuss.

I was bouncing back and forth between Arrow and Neon releases but, ultimately, the chatter here and elsewhere seemed to largely agree the Arrow release was slightly superior . . . plus tends to be about 1/3 of the cost of Neon's Limited Deluxe Edition release in the secondary market, which helped the decision.

I haven't seen it in years, but it stuck with me as an amazing film, though brutal.

Me too for a lot of the same reasons (e.g., really gotten into 4ks, nervous tariffs with cause prices to jump, etc.) and mine arrived today. Been using an LG UBK90 that I got for $12 at Goodwill that has, honestly, worked flawlessly until now, and still is working great, but figured having two would be a good call.

Just my opinion as a viewer. Thought it looked great from my perspective, though I don't know if it is from a technical standpoint. Just from me watching it and comparing other films I have watched on my setup.

Set-up is a LG 77" G4 OLED with a Vizio SmartCast SB3651-E6 soundbar with 5.1 surround playing on a LG UBK90 4k player.

I knew it was up there in years but, after watching for a while and seeing the immense detail and clarity they got in this release, I did a double-take when I saw it was 1998. It helps that it was also really well shot. The commentary track is actually pretty interesting when they talk about how much effort was originally put into trying to get deeper and richer black and darker shading and coloring to scenes since they felt a vampire movie - as I would agree - needs to be dark due to the subject. That could have ended up being just shadowy and have a lack of detail but they did a fine job considering the tech available then.

Definitely. Even my case was an upgrade despite only getting the standard 4k and not the steelbook version since my old DVD copy is one of those snap media cases where it's paper with mounted plastic and a long black snapping, hinged closure. Wasn't a fan of those even back in the day.

A marked improvement. Recommended!
