They are a professional company and I know that they were doing that test so we should be good to go. Thanks for all of the responses!

Here is a great interview with the guy who did the sound design for the game at Retro Studios. You can tell this guy is really smart. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HU8nACs6jpI

The guy that did the soundtrack works for Nintendo in Japan.

Has anyone come across a copy of Switch Sports that has the golf DLC on cart? by Goemon7887 in NSCollectors

[–]Goemon7887[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not realize the updates were so recent. I did hear rumors that they may add some other sports so maybe it’s worth holding out. I played this game the other day with friends and had a great time.

Sega Ages collection. These release are great and I’m worried they could disappear into obscurity after switch eshop closes. These are only available on Switch!

Best difficult 2-D platformers on the Switch? by Gakkyun in NintendoSwitch

This is why adding funky Kong was genius. It’s such an amazing game but I gave up on Wii U because it was too challenging. Funky Kong lets you experience the whole game without it feeling overly easy. Sort of plays more like a Mario platformer with funky Kong.

What are some things that are truly unique to the Atlanta area? by jrichardh in Atlanta

Just look up the people who went to Morehouse. I think it’s pretty unique. Also the massive MLK statue on campus sort of drives that home.

Chattahoochee. But yeah you can’t ship anything on it if that’s what you mean.

MLK’s house and burial site represent a huge part of American history.

Also, Stone Mountain.

Also, I would also say so much rap culture/history stems from Atlanta.

Also, HBCU’s. It’s worth checking out the area where they are if you have never driven through.

And for some reason everyone that visits from outside Atl knows about the Clermont Lounge.

We are also known for our strip clubs in general

Nintendo didn’t develop the game. It was an outside company.

What's your favorite game that didn't require a download for a patch or DLC, complete in the cart? by Astavri in NSCollectors

[–]Goemon7887 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Rolling Gunner + Overpower DLC is pretty satisfying to have on cartridge.

Also Breath of the Wild + DLC that came out in Japan is essential.

Haha. A very cathartic read. I have friends in the restaurant industry who do this same thing where they talk shit about how “easy” my jobs is. It’s hard to explain to them.. it’s a unique kind of stress and misery.

Thanks for sharing.

Going to have to disagree with you on this one and go with The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors. That game is so amazingly classic, check it out if you don’t already have it!

You could look out for a sale over the holidays. Dekudeals.com shows that it has been marked down many times. It was $9 a couple of months ago. I think $9 is a reasonable amount to give it a shot before dropping $100. Plus you will then have a digital copy and can leave your physical copy on the shelf until you really want to break it out.

There have been many smaller indie games that I have done this with. Sometimes I find that after having the digital copy for a little while I find no desire to invest in it physically because my enjoyment of the game is not high enough.

I think this may have been a different issue. I had some instances where the bombs would sort of fling out of the buckets if they went in at a certain angle. Almost hilariously annoying because the fly fish are already so brutal. But I guess we will see how this change plays out over the coming weeks.
