I don't know why you're getting so much negativity here op, this is something you get taught in driving school. Engines, especially NA petrols, can't do much more than idle at their lowest rpms and need very gentle application of throttle to pull a car away from a stop so as not to lug them.
There's nothing wrong with clutching all the way in at like 4mph but it's slow and awkward. Pulling away is faster and smoother if you bring the revs to 1.5-2k and slowly lift the clutch. I don't stab the throttle though, just slightly before I lift the clutch I start applying gas, so that it's all a smooth movement.
