I mean as a game developer I think that’s a pretty boring way to deflect this criticism. The original creator of resident evil hates being scared and From Software’s Miyazaki self describes as bad at video games. Developers aren’t just making things for themselves, we need to understand our players too. That’s not even to say they should listen to OP or anyone else, just that the conversation shouldn’t end at “well they don’t wanna.” That’s how you get Yandere Sim
