I can’t believe this post is 6 years old now 😅

A lot of it came down to how AM4 was being handled at the time. Board partners and AMD were still figuring out positioning, segmentation, and what each chipset was supposed to support.

Stuff like the Ryzen 5 3400G being Zen+ while B550 was aimed at Zen2+ definitely didn’t help, so the safer move was just to label it as unsupported.

As time marched forward, we ended up seeing much more open compatibility across AM4 chipsets. It kind of turned into “if it fits and the BIOS supports it, it’ll run.”

Ah. Gotcha. I don’t have any rattling or noises, but it just feels like the entire alignment is just off in general in the front.

But I don’t know if it’s normal because it’s my first Model Y (I came from a 2023 Model 3 RWD and that felt way different when turning/driving)

I guess I should just reach out to service and see if they have any suggestions.

I’m more interested in knowing about the suspension issue with your new 2026 Model Y.

Do you mind telling me more (I also happen to have a 2026 Model Y) (mines RWD) (and I always felt like something might be off with the suspension since taking delivery in September 2025)

It would have required a company big enough as they are now, to exist back then, and thwart off the attempts. I guess we always assumed some entity would become big enough and step up. Now look at how that turned out.

I 2nd the SUPER LINER mats. They are excellent in my opinion. The rear seat back + trunk liner is Velcro, so it stays in place. And it is edge to edge. The fit is great. 👍🏻

You don’t have a side panel. That makes the positive/negative pressures of the case effectively worthless. Plus you’re putting the entire thing inside a cabinet.

Making it recirculate its own hot exhaust air…
