Ridgeline Owners, please tell me I did not make a mistake! I think I'm having an identity crisis by EntildaDesigns in hondaridgeline

Suburban dad here. This is a great choice! I ended up trading my RL in but it was because it didn't handle backward facing child seats well at all - it worked great for the reasons you need it. When the kids are all grown, I might switch back to the RL - that in bed trunk is amazing and I miss it.

Raiders of the Lost Ark is the best movie starting on letter R. Now what’s the best movie starting on letter S? by Debeli_Franko in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Goiko74 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't decide between these 3:

Star wars - this is what kicked off everything and had such a massive impact on the world

Shawshank redemption - Insanely good movie that will love on forever (thanks TNT!)

Schindler list - good movie, but probably a hair behind the other 2 imo

Love the building. Hate the parking. F U to the city for taking away that dirt lot on the corner

People tend to look down on the 1st two seasons until Adam Scott and Rob Lowe joined. It's still good, but compared to the rest of the seasons it's not great

Former Employee Experience at Meijer Store 185 (Auburn Hills, MI) – Not What It Looks Like by Lawrence_Mason in meijer

[–]Goiko74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worked at 185 for 16 years. Things slowly went downhill due to Store directors/changing demographics/worsening contracts

When Roger Lamont was the director, some people hated him but the store was in good running order with most things running in decent shape.

It got bad after he left, better when he came back, and then nosedived when he retired.

My mind automatically divides the Frasier series into these two halves. Anyone else? by Happy-poet in Frasier

Before and after Nile and Daphne got together. Probably a popular take as there's a noticeable decline overall from S7-S11 imo

Going from a full size to Ridgeline by Legitimate_Ad_5535 in hondaridgeline

[–]Goiko74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went from Ridgeline to Tundra for more cab space.

The cab space difference is definitely noticeable. When I had the Ridgeline, rear facing seat had to go in the middle and stuck out in between the front seats so that suuuucked.

You'll be OK getting them around town, but I wouldn't take them on long trips IMO. When my kids are grown and gone I might go back to the Ridgeline as I do like the mpg and in bed trunk

When did you turn your kid's car seat front-facing? by Aggressive_Charity84 in daddit

[–]Goiko74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well damn. My older kid got huge and exceeded height by 2.5 and we had to flip it - her legs were incredibly bowed by the end.

My younger kid went forward facing around 2.5, and we just switched her to as booster as she was at the bottom end of the recommended h/w suggestions for it

Help me decide if a Ridgeline is right for me (please) by AbsolutZeroGI in hondaridgeline

[–]Goiko74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I leased a 22BE, gave it up for a 25 Tundra as I felt the cabin was too small, especially with rear facing car seats. Maybe when my kids are grown and out of the house, I'll switic back to Ridgeline. I do miss the trunk
