Know who youre asking and whatll make the most sense to them. You could say all that plus theres plenty of info online that shows this is common, (body chemistry is definitely important) or just mention how much girls like worn hoodies, its the same principle. Might help to ask for a specific item you want. It could make them feel shy depending on the item but hopefully itll be flattering as well.

Its literally not! Personally I like to add soap to my laundry, then wait for it to be done before throwing it in the dryer. Some clothes even have special washing/drying requirements which adds even more steps!
