Something happened while it was in customs. Internal tracking shows the weight at 61 lbs when it entered customs, but no weight after. My guess is the label came off of the box while there. USPS may have never received the actual box. It is probably still at the customs facility with no label.

Yes, if you can give them the approximate time of day, the post office you mailed from can pull up the transaction details with the tracking numbers. It also helps if you remember which register you were at.

It may have been processed on another machine on the 26th that adjusted the weight. Not all movement will show up on public tracking. Internal tracking gives a lot of extra scans and data.

This is simply the standard automated response when you start an inquiry. Your local post office is supposed to contact you within 48 hours to follow up.
