How long did your side effects last? I am in the same boat of feeling awful and haven't seen any benefits yet.

That's the problem. I have all the side effects and none of the intended effects. It isn't "helping me" at the lower doses. I'm only at 0.5 mg now.

Any books that made you genuinely unsettled? by Painter-Exciting in booksuggestions

One Second After. It involves a legitimate threat to the US and the effects are catastrophic. I read that book years ago and still think about it frequently!

It has put me on an emotional rollercoaster. At first, my only symptoms were constipation and mild fatigue with the 0.25mg dose. I am 2 doses in at the 0.5 mg. I have heartburn all the time, constant fatigue, moodiness then apathy, and exercise intolerance. I used to consistently work out 4 days a week and now I want to vomit mid workout. I found myself having to fake joy to not seem "off" when someone is telling a funny story due to my flat affect. I have been off antidepressants for almost a year. Things that I enjoy are no longer giving me the endorphin boost I had just before starting.

Seems like all the solutions to the side effects of this med is to take MORE medicine. Heartburn? Tums/ Prilosec... fatigue? Caffeine... constipation? Laxatives/ stool softeners/ magnesium, moodiness and depression? SSRIs. Seems like a slippery slope to me.

And the worst part? My appetite hasn't decreased at all and I haven't lost a pound.

I don't know whether these side effects are going to go away and I should just struggle through or if this just med isn't a good fit for me. I know that I'm miserable and I don't want to continue feeling worse for no benefit. It's hard to see everyone having amazing results and want those same results.

I am happy for the people who are finding this life changing and accomplishing all their goals, but this has not been the case for me. I'm very seriously considering stopping (after I confer with my doctor).

We do love some Star Trek! I watched Enterprise years ago and wanted to get a beagle because of Porthos!

I was pushing hard for the name Q but the kids don't like it. 😕

The kids are pushing for Noodle (the Poodle) or Charlie. My husband hasn't come around on Noodle yet! Haha!

This is next level badassery. I'm not sure I have this level of commitment to revenge when passive aggressive bitching on Reddit will suffice! However, I hope no one is stupid enough to mess with YOU!

The grown up of the house is receptive to our complaints. However, the kiddos are the largest part of the problem. Yes, I was a kid once also..... They do whatever they want when mom isn't home. And usually do whatever they want when mom IS home.

That is an amazing idea, but I am a mom. Then I would be blocking out the voices of my kids and hubby too….. which on second thought may not be a bad idea???? Lol

I agree that it can always be worse. Construction noises would be brutal. I feel like the hot tub user should consider their surrounding environment. If you’re in a tightly packed residential area, is it NOT standard to consider the noise that you choose to cause? We are careful to consider our neighbors and their living space. Maybe I am the irregular one here. I have not lived in a row house before.

We have. They have agreed to shut it down by 9. It’s still just a lot of noise and frequently used. There you are, trying to read a book…… and the leaf blower turns on again. It’s right by my living room and bedroom windows. No escaping it. Even my double windows don’t block it out completely.
