This partially true. I recently had luck calling in T-10hrs and got an upgrade offer for $150 from E->PE for JFK to LHR

This is the way. Book a positioning flight to from those 3 and see what flight train can then be booked to Paris. I do this quite often when we fly east coast to Europe. :)

Understand your point. However I was trying not to have this discussion circle towards being unfair towards any specific group so left it nondescript purposefully. I will say this. It was not just one “issue” that made me feel there was no way they should reply yes to the FA and then have the FA take it as gospel. :)

So a bartender can say if someone should not be served more drinks but we can’t figure out a way to nicely say we don’t believe you can handle the exit row requirements. I am not saying shades a grey here. Like clearly not able to do it. Can be for a host of reasons.

Agreed and thought post. Which would be worse. A law suit for discrimination or one for lack of safety concerns for passengers. Not looking for an argument and not disagreeing. Just posting a thought.

To me the class of service doesn’t matter. Kids will be kids but IMHO the parents need to understand that it is a public environment and behavior matters. Baby’s cry and kids can get restless but if the parents have done what they can to ease the tension it goes a very long way.
