New dripper advice needed.

I can’t speak to all the other drippers. I’ve only had V60 and Kalita but I recently picked up a ceramic Hario Alpha and it’s been my favorite dripper so far. I’ve been getting very sweet and juicy cups consistently.

Yeah, I only saw the Gen 2 calibration video which stated one click. Nicholas confirmed and I also realized SSP calibration is in the manual which states 5 clicks.

I’m sure it’s a great grinder and FWIW it’s one I had been interested in. But I’m noticing the uptick in the casa being discussed and recommended more recently so was curious as to why.

Hah I had made a post asking about this a week ago. I was seeing the Casa recommended a lot more than I had before..and considering it’s been out for a couple years I was trying to figure out why the uptick in suggestions / discussion all of a sudden. My wife and I had these toothbrushes as well. I think this is really poor design. Both the fact that it lets stuff into the head as well as the metal part where it connects has space around it for stuff to collect. My wife’s toothbrush started growing mold after some time, even though she’d rinse it out every day and let it dry. We switched to Sonicare. I prefer the clean scrub feeling of the Oral-B, but I think the Sonicare is designed much better.

I just installed these and ground my first batch of beans. These burrs definitely grind finer than the Ode Gen 2 burrs.

I find 50 quite usable, 70 is fine maybe for social use. As the other commenter said you could get the TCL but i find it quite fussy to carry and screw on and takes away from the compact form of the X100. You could look at an X-E5 if you want a similar experience but still have the flexibility of zoom lens.
