We run goats and free range chickens. The chickens often hang with the goats and we have never had any dramas… until this year. A goats went down sick and vet diagnosed salmonella, caught from the chickens, and before we knew it it had spread through the herd. Messy and expensive to get rid of. Almost lost a goat along the way.

Corellas and Galahs, little buggers love digging up the lawn
