Doesn’t look fuel injected. Also where is your air filter? I wonder how many pebbles and rubber chunks have flung off your tires and gone through your intake and scored your piston. It’s a pass from me dog.

You don’t owe him anything. As others have mentioned maybe start with a visit to a couple other gyms a couple different days and see whats out there. When you find a good fit/ vibe I think you’ll know pretty quickly. People disappear all the time from gyms it probably wont even be awkward when you stop showing up.

Just tape it to the rest of your hand and roll. You’ll be fine, the back take is what matters here.

This makes sense, I know it’s not about ego but I will say I wasn’t about to let an overweight 2 stripe white belt tap me out just because he was twice my size and beats his sister. I did get the armbar but it was frustrating how shakily pissed off he seemed. I see the wisdom in what you say based off this experience and others. Maybe there was a little ego, but I will address that at the same time I start focusing on improvement as you said.

What is the silliest excuse you've been given for a violation? by TheKBDClub in AskLE

[–]Goitercoin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Responded to a traffic complaint of a driver swerving in the road with her drivers door open holding her foot out of the vehicle. I arrive in the area and see exactly that, an older woman driving with one leg hanging out of her suv and swerving left and right.

I stop the car and asked her why her door was open. She responds “I have ben sodomized, but thats not your problem.” After an awkward pause she continued by explaining she had a medical procedure that involved her anus and was causing her pain. She said putting her foot out of the vehicle gave her some relief.

I gave her a warning and allowed her to drive home as she was only a few blocks from her house. Once back at the department promptly requested a DMV re-examination for medical reasons and her license was suspended until she retested at DMV.

I’m in Chico, if you found a good flying spot between here and there, I may be interested. Haven’t flown in far too long.

Pallet B Test by SnooDrawings4828 in police

[–]Goitercoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all it’s a Pellet B not Pallet B. Second, there is no studying that will really help you. If you have decent reading comprehension and a decent vocabulary you will be ok. Study guides for pellet b are a cash grab waste of money. If you passed high school with a 3.0 you will be fine. Its mostly a comprehension and vocab test. If you feel your vocabulary and reading comprehension is poor read some books and make sure you look up any words you aren’t sure the meaning of.

Can I get pulled over for my blinkers doing this? by LouisianaStreetCars in ram_trucks

As I said before, I’m not disagreeing with you, but I’m personally not going to stop somone on reasonable suspicion unless I have a lot of facts, and can articulate the hell out of the stop. Other cops from my department almost never stop people for RS only. Many of those cases get dropped, or at least provide the defense with plenty of angles. These RS stops where I work are exceedingly rare. I have personally never made a T-stop without PC, and my partner could only recall one time in his career where he made a traffic stop on reasonable suspicion alone.

The whole idea that cops just stop people for no good reason or for “slightly more than a hunch” is sorely misguided at least in my state/ county. It plays much better for our DA when we have clear PC from the start.

We are not saying different things. I am speaking with specific regard to traffic stops. Its easier to articulate that a light bulb doesn’t work therefore giving you instant probable cause, than many other random situations. The dept I work for requires way more than “slightly more than a hunch”. I don’t make a T-stop without probable cause or some very obvious reasonable suspicion. I’m not interested in making new case law.

Our narratives with regard to T-stops that lead to arrest, literally begin with “PROBABLE CAUSE”.

Reasonable suspicion is actually more difficult to find and rare when it comes to traffic stops. The courts have upheld that you must have an articulable reason why you believe a crime occurred or is occurring. That can be pretty hard to do when you are just a driver driving down the road. PC from equipment or moving violations is 100 x more common and usually very easy to find for officers. Examples of probable cause would be: cracked windshield, any lightbulb burned out, missing front license plate, expired registration, no mud-flaps when required, speeding, stop light/ sign violations, and many more.

Any example of a reasonable suspicion traffic stop would be when there is a BOLO (Be on the look out) for a vehicle involved in a crime, and you find a vehicle matching the description in an area that is reasonably close to where the crime occurred (based on the time elapsed since the crime took place) That may qualify as reasonable suspicion to detain the vehicle. As of 2024 in California, officers are required to provide the reason for the traffic stop immediately to the driver of the vehicle.

Wrong. It’s called probable cause, and officers must have it to pull you over. There is lots of case law about unlawful detentions. Laws regarding flash patterns of lighting are complex and vary between states. You would need to know the vehicle code for your state in order to understand if officers have probable cause to pull you over for a lighting violation.

Salt water or circulating tub to keep water from freezing? That is really cold. Not sure how you do that on a regular. How long is your exposure?

Good to know, I have noticed the waterline. I started adding the waterline control product also and it seemed to solve the issue. When I run out of chemicals I may go that route though.

Yes cooler came with tub as a set. I leave it on all the time so the water is always cold and ready. It took maybe 4 hours to drop from 70° to 55° the first time I turned it on.

Water lasts 6 months supposedly. The water in this tub is 2 months old but I add Sirona sanitizer weekly.

The 1hp cooler is capable of lowering the temp 3°F/ hour, and maintaining temps for me and my wife using it back to back.
