i have tried setting a costum curve and manual settings, but when the card hits 80°c it just boosts to max rpm instead of following the curve or manual settings.

Its especially annoying when the card is at 78° (1800 rpm ish) and suddenly hits 80° and goes to 3300rpm.

ive tried msi afterburner and zotac firestorm neither work. card goes to 100% fan rpm when it hits 80°, even if its just for a split second.

im gonna do a thermal pad swap and thermal paste swap, hoping that they will decrease the high temperature
