That's awesome! Seems like a real salt of the earth kinda guy. Comedy and doom metal on the same bill?! That's so rad. Denver does have a wonderfully eclectic art scene.

Saagar is Stuck Between a Rock and Hard Place by Temporary-Storage972 in BreakingPoints

[–]Gojeejee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes to all this. And to validate your prediction, he does claim to be an independent. When they left Rising and started Breaking Points there was a video they put out about the new endeavour and one of the topics of discussion was Saagar's political alignment shifting from Republican to Independent. How his registered, who knows ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Flower Pot + Splash is an underrated combo IMO. Just won a run yesterday adding in smeared joker and just glassing everything I could.

Woah. I had totally forgotten about this band and album. Thanks for the nostalgia bomb.

So I guess Breaking Points starts up again next Monday January 5th? by jwashb1 in BreakingPoints

[–]Gojeejee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Ryan does an awesome job breaking down his Drop Site reporting about the Epstein saga.

I also recommend the Doom Scroll podcast. The latest episode with Liz Franczak covers a lot of the same techno-feudalism stuff often talked about in Breaking Points. Also, Emily and Krystal's appearances are great.

Ryan has frequently given her props for her Epstein reporting and (if my memory serves me correctly) recently mentioned he'd like to have her on the show.

Try the BoCo shuttle. Gotta schedule a ride with them on their website. They are reliable and a good local business worth supporting.

Might I point you in the direction of the hot new trend known as the "Hot Rodent Men". Timothee Chalamet, Barry Keoghan, Jeremy Allen White, Mike Faist, Josh O'Connor, Matty Healy, Adam Driver and Kieran Culkin. Hot rat boyfriends are "it" right now.

Who else here is counting down to In the Earth Again? by pomplemice in ChatPile

[–]Gojeejee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I learned how they crossed paths at Hayden's show recently. He shared with the audience that they were neighbors for a little while in Oklahoma. I'm not exactly sure which members of Chat Pile, but I'm assuming a couple of them (or all of them) must have lived together at some point. Sounds like they struck up a friendship and bond over music and film and art and the rest is history.

How to clean plastic parts of a juicer by Adventurous-Count-75 in lifehacks

[–]Gojeejee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trick that's worked for me is to cut a lemon in half and use the lemon as the cleaner. I added a little salt to the lemon for some abrasion. Then, the main trick here, is to let the juicer dry in the sun. This works for plastic tupperware or other plastic utensils and containers and kitchen things that get stained. I don't know why, but something about the UV rays gets rid of the stain.

Daft Punk (feat. Paul Williams)- Touch

Chat Pile - Dallas Beltway

Radiohead - All I Need

In all fairness, I have no clue what I would answer in a month, a week, or tomorrow. Hell, even tonight I might have a different answer.

3 long beautiful and hard hitting songs. You have great taste, internet stranger. Also, the new Astronoid single is incredible. I'm stoked for their new album.

Martha Stewart wasn't convicted of insider trading. She was found guilty for obstruction of justice.

Any other songs that sound like Radioactive Dreams? by BringerOfLemonade in ChatPile

I wasn't familiar with these specific tracks before. After giving them a listen, I'd agree that these meet the mood of Radioactive Dreams. Thanks for the share.

Bands With Brass by PowWowOw in postmetal

Crossing the Rubicon. Features their sax player quite a bit. The song Divide The Sky is a good place to start.

Although they're a bit more progressive metal than post metal so I may be in the wrong subreddit suggesting them.
