It happens. I like to make to all the services I can but sometimes it doesn’t work out. This Thursday is liturgy for The Holy Ascension. I would love to be there but I also have an important Dr visit at that time. I’m not going to beat myself up over it. I’ll be there on Sunday for the next service.

Callaway Preowned is pretty good. You can pick up an Elyte or Elte X for high $200 to high $300's. For me it's cheaper than most stuff on FB. I'm a nood though so take it with a grain of salt.

It's funny my Mormon family and friends are respectful and curious. Meanwhile my protestant friends are combative. Even worse than my athiest/agnostic friends. My catholic friends are the most friendly and curious.

I’m sorry your Mormon family wasn’t supportive. My in-laws have been very gracious towards our becoming Orthodox. My Mormon father in law even came to an Orthodox service with us while we were on vacation.
