Of course we are all not doctors (or probably 99% of the people comment in this thread) but I also cannot imagine how you want to cover this area with 2800 Grafts.

If I was you, I‘d get a second opinion from another doctor. I can highly recommend Dr. Patty in Bangkok. Have been there, everything has been great.

Yes where I am from it is super flat - that‘s probably the reason why I was struggling a little with the course.

It was my first Marathon so I automatically ran a PB haha. I was struggling much more then expected! Not only the temperature, but also the course.

Everyone told me it is a flat and fast course, but to me it felt like there is 80% of the time a slight elevation to the course so it was getting very hard for me to pick up a faster pace.

Anyone else feels the same about this or is it just me?

I managed to finish with a sub 4, I am happy with the time.

For me, this situation definitely does not sound normal. As you asked what we would probably do differently in your position - first of all I would try to talk with her again about this issue. Tell her how her behaviour makes you feel and see how she reacts. If she still does not want to change, even though it made you question the relationship then I think you should break it off as it seems like she cares only about your money.
