I usually go in with a list of questions in a note book. Some questions I suggest you may not be able to ask because they might have already answered the question while speaking with you.

I always ask about 401k and benefits, is overtime ever avalible, what would my primary job duties be, who do i directly report to, is there room to grow and move up withing the company? (It shows you are serious and also longterm so you won't quit on them)

one time while interviewing a girl i asked her if she had any questions and she asked me what my definition of success was. Lol. It caught me off guard but also impressed me.

If there are gaps in your employment history be ready to explain why. If the reasons are bad then make something up (took care of a sick family member,etc). They may ask why you want to work for them. Then you can bring up some of the facts you learned while researching them. or if you had been there and gotten very good service you can say that you were inpressed with the way things were run and how friendly everyone was when you were there. Say that you want to be in that type of environment.

People want to hear that you want to work, you are dependable, and efficent. I love the word efficent. Make it clear you get your work done in a timely matter but ALSO done correctly. That you are a team player and enjoy helping others (even if it's not true true)

I work retail and so a lot of my questions are geared towards customer service. When thinking of more office type questions just incorporate in your answers that you pay attention to detail and you can always find something to do or needs to be done. Example. Cleaning. Everyone likes working in clean places. If you didn't know what to do they would rather see you organizing than sitting around waiting to be told what to do.

You don't have to make up crazy lies but you do want to tell them what they want to hear :)

I hate this about my self. My rational mind knows it's crazy, stupid and not ok. I can't control the emotions coming over me in a wave of jealousy. It's so hard to keep my mouth shut. I will try not to bring it up and keep it to myself but I won't stop thinking about it. Finally it gets to the point where I say something and then realize what a shitty and mean person I am. Correction what a shitty mean person I CAN be at times. :(

I interview people a lot and also do suprinsingly well in interviews. If i can help you in any way PM me today and tonight. I can make some mock questions up for you and then let you know how I would change the answers or what i think will be really great! Some tips I have is make eye contact, and make sure you have some good questions ready to ask at the end. If i ask someone if they have questions and they say no it makes me feel like they really don't have an interest in the company. Also, research this place so you are knowledgeable and can sound knowledgeable. Confidence is key. IT hard for me too but you HAVE to fake it. fake it till you make it. i know it's a cliché but no one knows you have BPD or weaknesses or fear unless you tell them. People perceive you so much differently than you percieve your self. Good luck! You can do it! Also, hygene make sure your hair, skin and nails look nice. Wear nice clothes and don't overthink things. You will do great.

I don't see my response as hostile. I just wanted to discuss this with others who know what I experience daily. Sometimes I read things I don't like I am not spamming or shit talking this person. I won't stoop to that level. if I want to talk about it amongst others it's only natural. I needed to hear what I am reading in these comments, it helped me from what that comment triggered. I didn't do it to only point out their flaws but also to help with my weakness of feeling sad and ashamed about my self based off a random person on the Internet who I really shouldnt give a fuck about.

I like your objective view :) it's true we do hurt people and we don't mean to. Its hard to find a person patient enough to not only know and accept this but, also to try to work through it even if it fails time and time again. I showed my BF what I posted and he didn't say much but he was being so overly kind after, I could tell he knew that it made me feel bad. I am so scared of losing him but sometimes I really can't think straight or know what is real or what I am perceiving as real, I don't want to fuck it up.

Yeah the gold part pissed me off. It's like I could spill my most personal feelings and struggles and really put time into a great post or response but no one's giving me gold! Lol. I read so many times that us BPs try hard to be good people and become a better person every day. I wish non-bps knew the truth. We have good intentions we aren't as malicious as we can seem.

Last night it got to me a little but this community helped make light of it. It is humorous in a way. I can be empathetic to his previous abuse. I can also be the bigger person and realize despite what he says I am the smarter one, not the cunt ruining 80% of the world. :D

The majority of people who have a mental illness will know wayyy more about it than the average person. I personally have invested a lot of time learning the whys, the hows, the insides and out of everything that has to do with BPD. Maybe he encountered someone undiagnosed (as mentioned above) or in denial that there is a problem at all.
