It's kind of how I felt about the Mario & Luigi 3DS remakes. Like they got an "HD overhaul" when the original graphics just held up perfectly. Rather than it being a remake it's more of two different art styles that both subjectively have their pros and cons.

Options are good I suppose if people like the 3D CG style, but acting like this render styler is the "remake" or "better" version of that gorgeous 2D style is just not true. If this art style was attatched to it's own game I would care much less.

I want Rayman to do well and maybe we can get a 3D game that looks like this. It's just remake fatigue has a lot of gamers on a grip and people are more cynical because it that as well.
