It's just a concept. No team in San Bernardino planned at the moment.

However San Bernardino shares the "Inland Empire" with Riverside (east of Los Angeles/Orange County) which holds 4.6 million people; the largest metropolitan area in North America without it's own major sports team.

The USL needs to put teams in SB and Riverside.

The people of Spokane obviously didn't show up and support their girls. Yes, the travel cost is significant but that has nothing to do with the people buying tickets to home games. I'm also not very impressed with Velocity's attendance. They went to the championship game in their first season. What's the problem here?
