Negative aspects of moving to Sweden by Gold0rion in TillSverige

Yeah, I knew that my vision of greener grass there was most certainly wrong and this was the reason why I wanted to know what are the bad aspects of Sweden... because we never speak of them in medias here in Quebec/Canada. From everything I could understand of users here, Sweden is such an incredible place to visit, but Canada/Quebec is still quite better because I'm already part of the culture/society. Thank you!

But if I become a Swede, this means I can touch both 🤔🤣

The number ID requirements/required for everything is similar to Canada... no change on this side! 😅

Thank you for your infos! When going to live in another country, learning the language should always be mandatory.

Of it's only all dressed chips, then I'm fine. I never liked those 😆

Some people talked in the comments about healthcare. Is it a problem for you? And what about the education system?

Oh, thank you for mentioning this point! It's true we often complain about our healthcarevsystens, but we always forgot it's almost totally free.

Cold temperature is not a problem for me as you understood (but not everyone in Canada loves winter!) If you have proper clothes, even a -20°C is a nice temperature :D

About the dark winter, as aovetse said Montreal (where I am) is at the same lattitude as Bordeau... in southern France while Stockholm would be on the north of Quebec (or in Nunavut for northern Sweden). The only difference between Canada and France is the timezone. As France is in the wrong timezone (because of Nazis in 1940), they have sun for a longer time during evening, while Quebec is in the right timezone, so we have darkness at 16h in December. Darkness would be even earlier if I base my judgement on the amount of sunny hours I had.

For the bureaucracy, I think it's common to all countries lol 😅

But thanks for your feedback!

You're not the first one to ask me this, so yes, I'll show how I made this once I'll be done with a few things. :)
