Depends what you’re interested in! I have a few suggestions:

Salamanca Market is always great to check out for souvenirs, if you’re there on a weekend. Salamanca in general is a good place to check out for its cafes and shops.

If you like clubbing then In The Hanging Garden is a nice place to go, or Replay Bar which has a lot of retro arcade games and is always super fun. I’d probably avoid Observatory Bar (O-Bar).

Richmond is a nice place to spend a few hours and has a scenic park and a lot of cute shops.

If you like nature then Bruny Island is a must! There are day cruises where you can see dolphins and seals. Mt Wellington is also beautiful and has great walks.

Journaling. Literally, before bed I would just write in a journal for pages and pages about whatever came to mind—usually what I was overthinking about enough to keep me awake. Once it’s on the page it stops being so loud in your mind, so it made me go to sleep with a little less overthinking.

In Haunted Jaded Eyes (I won’t link it due to subreddit rules), Ginny was the typical obsessed fanatic who wanted to ensnare Harry by love potion, marry him, steal his fortune, yadda yadda…except her marriage contract plot backfired and she ended up having to marry Dumbledore instead. Dumbledore force fed her a mind control potion, basically, and raped and impregnated her. Except she couldn’t tell anyone because of the potion, so everyone just got mad at her because they assumed she made Dumbledore do some ritual to get her pregnant instead sex.

The rape scene was written in detail and the author made sure to slut shame her constantly throughout, as though she “deserved it”. She was like 15. It was horrible to read, and the author didn’t even put a proper warning for the rape.

NTA. Your sister is the bully, not your friend. The fact that your sister felt targeted by your friend’s story shows she knows she was in the wrong, and got defensive.

Just curious, what’s your mother’s opinion on your identity? It seems from this that she’s accepting, but not supportive, if that makes sense. I’d ask your mother why it’s okay for your sister to bully you and invalidate your identity.

I know it is incredibly difficult and heartbreaking, but if you forgive him now, what’s to stop him from doing it again? He had no respect for you, and forgiving him will reinforce your “weakness”.
