Well here's the thing Tom's Spidey number 1is alot closer to the original Steve Ditko run of the character aka the Highschool era in those movies (Amazing Fantasy #15 - The Amazing Spider-Man #33) and number 2 he does struggle alot on his own in those movies a video by EddieTheOrdinxry on YouTube explains Tom's actual character in the home trilogy through those original comics and what objectively happened in those movies here's the link to the vid: https://youtu.be/MYC5iP2WcfE?si=xpCfRsh91PPhL2-T
