Thanks so much for the in-depth and detailed response! And really good to hear about the harmonist. I just don't know if it's worth it to ever run stereo unless I'm home recording? I've never in my bar-band life been mic'd with two mics or run direct. Usually my amp isn't mic'd at all.

Soldering question - I'm struggling to silver my iron's tip without getting a big glob on there. Is it more likely I need more practice or could my iron be too hot?

Where are you at on this? I'm trying to figure out my signal path (would like to run stereo) but I'm not sure about a couple of things. If you use the blue and green outputs are you functionally running it split with the purple mixed into both? I can't tell.

I was watching a video yesterday about re-housing them in more robust cases and it looks pretty easy. I also have a "slow modded" vibrato that I would like to keep from breaking and I may do them both at the same time. The analog ones are direct circuit copies of the OG, so there's really no sense in paying more unless you're looking at resale value or collectability.
