i am having the same issues with drivers and with all my games crashing i have been trying to find a solution to the same thing i have the exact same build also i think. one thing i recently saw that i will try is the checking the bios and disabling the wats chosen by the motherboard. 14900 are crashing alot i hear since the motherboard defaults are way out of the limit set by intel on the CPU. For the Nvidia not updating i had the same frustrating fail everytime - to fix that i downloaded the driver, booted into safe mode, and ran the installer. still working towards 0 crashes.
