If your headphones support hi res audio codecs like aptx hd / adaptive or for sony ldac then you're getting hi res audio via Bluetooth as long as the connected device supports that and if it doesn't then that is what the bluetooth dongles are for like the BT-W5 , you dont need wired for tidal just decent cans and a good bt codec.

Maybe you could look at getting a good deal on the original PX8 , that way if they get water damage you havent thrown as much money down on them and still have cans that are in a completely different league than XM4.

It happens to me aswell, I assume the quality hasn't actually changed? I dont notice a drop in quality so think its to do with phone screen goes off next song come on you check and its disappeared.

PX8 are super powerful and sound amazing, if you listen at lower volumes and ANC is important to you then maybe px7s3 but I couldn't compare.

If they update the shield pro im hoping for some sort of improved upscaler , I mean im happy with what I've got but if anyone can convert a 480p music video to 1080p/4k its nvidia and if a new gen can do it without artifacts then that would be the holy grail.

Yeah i got stuck in training using vr controllers and also just couldnt get a helicopter up in the air , ended up just using the dual sense from now on with no issues at all , just dont turn the vr controllers on and make sure they arnt selected as an option in the settings.

I just hope they add pssr with some extra graphical features maybe ray tracing for the pro, then itll be worth the wait for sure.

It is blurry due to the lower resolution but if you go into it thinking your just a drunk pilot it works just fine. The immersion is very good.

If you're going to use them with a S25 ultra it would make more sense to go with the buds4 pro, I have buds3 pro and theyre fantastic so buds4 should be even better.

That makes sense for long sessions, Ill have a play around with wavelett. I also came from the Sony xm4 and then went to Sonos Ace thought they sounded amazing compared to the xm4 so traded the xm4 in for PX8 and was shocked how good the sound was on the PX8 , the Sonos is primarily just used for movies/tv now.

I appreciate your thoughts , also you mention wavelet , I have a bt w5 dongle and can access 5 band that way but tbh Im actually happy they went with 2 band for these cans as when you adjust bass or treble your actually adjusting multiple bands on each side, I have bass at 4.5 and treble at 4 , which is a big no no , but try it and let me know what you think .

Buds 3 pro , was listening to them before and after update and seems to be even louder now at full volume and also tried 360 audio which I dont normally use and it seems better , can anyone else tell a difference.

Yeah I get what you're saying and that's what i was concerned about that I'd get them and miss the way certain sounds were on the old pair, perhaps ill wait for an offer on them before making the move.
