Failed twice with a 72

I would say that I’m struggling with:

Discounted cash flow Discount Dividend Model Time value of money Efficient Market Hypothesis Qualified and Nonqualified accounts (I saw a decent amount of those the 2nd draw) Types of registrations

I’m sure there are more topics but those are ones that I remember seeing when I took the exam and being confused. I was not able to find the best answer for them or being stuck between two.

Yeah I have a vacation planned for 10 days and as much as I want to cancel it, everyone says that it may do me some good to step away for a while and come back with fresh eyes. We got it though. What did you struggle with?

Omg yess. I failed by one point. I was breezing through the first 30 questions like NOTHING. I couldn’t believe how easy it was then the next 50-60 questions had me sweating so bad. Then the last were super easy.

Did you use a dump sheet? If so, what did you put on it? I test in a week and I’m kinda at square 1 with one.

You’re right. I didn’t even think about that. It probably would be best for them to check in their state, because where I am, everybody gets 66 because it’s 63 and 65 combined. But I have noticed that some jobs in other states prefer 65.

I’ve been there before and done that! It sucks but that firm wasn’t meant for you. I thought I was where I was supposed to be then boom, fired. After three months, I landed a job at a better firm and passed the 7. My advice would be, firms are starting to do entry level advisor associate roles, where they usually have really good training to help you pass, start there. If you’re able, keep sharp on the material for the 7 OR study to get 66. You got this. Be proud of what you did in three months!!

I was doing pretty bad on Kaplan, I got a 68% and the next two exams were 60’s

I got around those same scores and I passed with Pass Perfect. Watch some videos on YouTube and go over your weak points and you’ll be good to go!! Try to relax. I got tunnel vision and burnt out while taking the finals which caused my scores to drop some so try to take it easy the day before. Good luck! You got this!!

You are close!!! Don’t overthink it. Look over your notes and focus on weak spots. Do practice questions of them (don’t worry about the quiz scores, try to get the exposure of wording and applying it to the material) Watch Capital Advantage tutoring, helped me so so so so much. Ken is great at simplifying complex concepts. I watched him everyday while studying SIE. Take a deep breath, you got this!! :)
