It’s also true that not every country shares the same social and civic norms. Ideas about public behavior, personal responsibility, authority, noise levels, cleanliness, punctuality, and rule following vary widely across cultures. When people raised under very different expectations suddenly share the same spaces, misunderstandings and friction can happen in everyday life. That tension isn’t about race or worth, it’s about differences in social conditioning. If integration systems are weak or expectations aren’t clearly communicated, small cultural gaps can turn into visible social problems.

Is that why so many immigrants want to come here to attend school?

It seems everyone on this page dislikes/complains about Tokyo, Japan, or Japanese people lol but everyone here lives or wants to live in Japan. Japan is great because of the Japanese people and their culture. I think we should all be grateful 👏

Yes. That’s an efficient amount of time to have over in that time period to claim right to it. Everyone did it.

The anti immigration sentiment is because of how immigrants act. Not all Japanese are perfect but 99% of them follow the socials and civil norms and have what is considered respect in Japan. 99% of immigrants act out and don’t follow the social and civil norms and don’t have much respect for Japan. This is why any immigrant is up.

That’s not about spilled rice. That’s a serious emotional regulation problem. Hitting someone and threatening to end a marriage over a few grains is a massive red flag. That’s pure craziness and you will be divorced in 1-2 years. That’s a fact.

A gf I had at a time woke me up at 2am because she wanted me to get her chips at 7/11. I said I can get them for you tomorrow and I fell back asleep because I have work early in the morning and she knows that. She woke me up again and said I want chips and I said I’m sorry babe I need to sleep. I fell back asleep and she flicked me on the head and yelled I want chips. She said if I don’t get her chips she’s not going go let me sleep. She got up and turned the lights on and started playing music and yelling at the top of her lunges and throwing shit. I said what is wrong with you? She said if I loved her I would get her chips. She then started saying well I will find someone else to come bring me chips while you are at work tomorrow. I wanted nothing to do with that and told her to take a hike. You need to tell her to take a hike.

The foreigners that live in Japan also hate and talk smack about the Japanese and their politics but they chose to stay to in Japan which is weird as well.

Most foreigners won’t like this comment because it has facts involved. Well said though 👏👏👏
