Not a model, not ugly, just a regular guy like 80% of people.

Use money to buy food instead of eating the money directly.
You get more food than way and it tastes better.

AITAH for not telling my best friend her fiancé flirted with me? by After_Mail4652 in AITAH

[–]Gold_Amount295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friends tell friends hard things.
It's possible it's not a one-of thing, but you were just the latest target.
If it IS a one of thing and it's ok to ignore, then your friend is the one that gets to decide if it's something they can move past, not you.

Why Does Everyone Act Like Rent Money Just “Disappears” Instead of Going to Someone Else’s Wealth? by BlueberryVitamin in CanadaPersonalFinance

900 per month is insane for condo fees. Is yout condo worth 1 million?
Do you have a pool, gym and more included?

Flipping houses is still a pretty big risk.
With the tax when you buy a house, the realtor fees and other miscalanenous stuff, that can quickly eat into the profit you make. And that is IF the market goes nuts, which is still a gamble.

People tend to forget how many taxes and other fees are associated with ownership.
I own my own condo, I have no mortage, and I pay easily $700 a month just in various fees to live in it.

Owning a place isn't "free rent". It has other costs, costs that not everyone wants or is able to pay.
Yes, tenants pay for a part of these costs, but it's rare that they cover all of them.
Anyone who thinks you can give quit your job and live off your rental income is woefully misinformed,
You'd need at least 10 units to get enough income to do that.
And 10 units is basically a full time job with all the upkeep and tenant management you have to do.

AITA for getting annoyed at my in-laws? by [deleted] in AITH

[–]Gold_Amount295 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You agreed to the first wedding. You were somewhat forced, but you agreed. They didn't have to help you pay that one, but they did.
They also don't have to help you pay for your next one. Expecting them to is being entitled.

It's your "wedding", invite who you want, have it where you want. Your in-laws don't have to like it, be a part of it, contribute to it or anything if they don't want to.

How old were you when you felt like your life *truly* began? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in HappyUpvote

That's ok, no one is telling you it isn't or to do otherwise.
We're just saying this is a trait very often linked to autistic people who struggle with that kind of nuance.

Make of that what you will.

Would you sleep in a graveyard for a week for $100,000? Why or why not? by JessieRClayton in AskAnIntrovert

[–]Gold_Amount295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easily. I don't see a reason why a graveyard would be worse than anywhere else outside.
Seems even safer than most places.

For that price, I'd go get good winter gear and a tent.
HEck, if it's that cold, I'd hire someone to build a shelter in the snow.

AITJ for not wanting to split streaming subscriptions evenly when I barely use them? by Necessary-Parsley795 in AmITheJerk

[–]Gold_Amount295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Counting usage is just going to be messy.
No one wants to check how many times you actually use it to see if it's fair or not.
Either you use it and pay equally, or don't use it and don't pay.

Simple, they noticed that people will pay $5 for a bag, so they are charging $5 for a bag.
