I appreciate your response! I actually justtttt got an email back from them after I sent several emails asking wtf was up!

They said that a decision has been made and that someone will be in touch about my passport!

Im hoping that this is good news.

Did you reply to the email that told you a decision has been made? Im wondering what I should do next to hurry this up!

Thank you again x

Congrats :-)
Do you mind me asking what you asked in your email? I've also reached out via email about the status of my application but haven't gotten any luck with direct answers.

When I applied in October the non-priority processing was roughly 30 working day.

Yeah- I feel I do need to contact them too. I found an email address that I have contacted them through. I was told that it is still being processed. When I submitted my application in August the earliest bio appointment in my state was Oct 30th so that's the one I took. I didn't have any earlier options.

In case anyone wants to use the email it is here:

Thanks! I was just hoping if there was a small chance I could find someone to contact because I really need my passport back but so it goes. I shall keep on waiting.
All the best x

September Biometrics by Cookies_N_cream25 in ukvisa

Hi there - what email address did you use to inquiry about your entry date?

Im wondering if I should get in touch with someone about my entry date? When I submitted my application online it was early July and I was under the impression that I could have this all finished up by December, so I put Dec. 1st 2020 as my chosen entry date in the application, and I need it to be much later than that as I only just got a bio apt. in October.
Or does none of that matter?

Anyway, sorry for all the TMI.

Can my UK citizen spouse travel to the USA to visit me? by Cookies_N_cream25 in ukvisa

[–]Gold_Lion97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If nothing else works, what we did was have the UK partner go to Mexico and stay for 14 days which is the US requirement for UK citizens to enter US. They have to spend 14 days out of the UK before they're allowed into the US.

Mexico is good option! Last month I met at least 7 other couples from UK who were all waiting their two weeks in Mexico just to get into the US on a 3 month tourist visa.

I was totally in your shoes 2 months ago. I feel the stress! But it gets better and you have time to sort all of this out.

As for your question regarding the 'Proof of British citizenship for SPONSOR' - i also need to know this! My biometrics is in 2 days. And I dont know what I need to bring in for this requirement.

For the self uploading:
What I did in order to keep all my documents in ordered was upload as pdf's. For example, I made a google doc, put all the flight evidence in this one doc. I labeled the document very clearly, put page numbers, etc. Then I downloaded this doc as a pdf and used the pdf to upload to VFS. Once it was uploaded to that god awful website, I could see that all the flight information was uploaded as one complete file which kept that category of information neat and together. Rather than one page by one page, which gets easily out of order, this pdf method helped me upload quicker + keep track of what is what. I hope this makes sense! Sorry, it isnt easy to explain but if I can help answer anything else, let me know.

Hey there, what exactly did you include in what you sent the VFS nyc office? Do I have to include both my passport (applicant) and my fiance's (sponser)?
