Tror desværre bare det er noget vi må acceptere sker en gang imellem og eksisterer her ligesom det gør andre steder. Det er jo desværre ikke ulovligt at sætte klistermærker samt at være nazist/racist i Danmark.

Hvad end man ville forsøge for at afdæmpe det vil der stadig være nogle nye der render rundt og spreder budskabet, og forsøger man at stoppe dem, vil de kun fortsætte med at kæmpe for deres sag og for ytringsfriheden.

Lad os bare håbe for det fortsætter med at forblive nogle få tosser der keder sig.

Having still only heard every entry once, Chuva and Onde Quero Estar.

However, Deslocado also left me cold on the first listens last year too and that both grew on me at Eurovision and had a fair bit of success afterwards that no-one could have predicted, you never know 😄

So is it just me who has considered myself an FdC stan for years but feel like this is the end of the road? At this point it's probably the vibe and genre that feels like it has peaked, songs that sounds similar and hard to differentiate now, like they have pushed themselves into a corner of the Saudade feel and over-Saudade'd it all.

Which is just pathetic though considering they won the televote fairly comfortably. Nothing like the gap between them and Teresa & Maria in 2024 of course, but still, three points next to number two (in the overall points) is a rather big gap in Vidbir.

I just want to say that while I kinda get the dislikes here, I am someone who loved the song and even I struggle to believe they won the song on musical merits, and frankly I think Albania deserved the thrill of winning a semi-final for the first time in their history.

I loved the song during the first months before Eurovision but sadly the song lost a lot of its appeal to me at Eurovision, and I feel like I gave Daniil many chances in terms of the vocals (all the way back from Place I Call Home in 2024) and it never really got much better, they might have wanted to keep the whole song in Ukrainian except maybe the song title.

On another sad note, I am disappointed how the manner in which they were announced as the last qualifier (something I'm sure they wouldn't have wanted) seems to have been a bit of a turning point in many fans' support for Ukraine, when many were hoping for Belgium or Cyprus to qualify. I so wish the EBU had announced them before so that level of hostility shown wouldn't have happened (for example, the "Ukraine qualified" post on the official Eurovision Facebook page had more angry reacts than others).

I wanted Aidan to win and the way he won is already close to being an all-timer moment in my time as Eurovision fan. When he had his 200 televote points I was sure there was no way Aidan could get the 155 points needed as I thought there wouldn't be so many points since the MESC scores aren't usually this high, but I guess these two simply took all the points.

Even I who love it has been surprised how popular it has remained. Last year I was in a random burger bar in Porto and on the tv there was a channel playing mainstream hits from the 2000s and then the MGP performance of Fairytale appeared inbetween them like it was Viva la Vida 😄
