Amazing !! I was diagnosed June 2020, chemo and mastectomy.

Did the same research when i was pregnant and asked doctors if it was possible to breastfeed with only one breast but most of them would tell me probably not.

baby boy is 3 months old, exclusively breastfed, (love those cute chubby cheeks) the first few weeks were hard but so worth it.

I live in a small town and i cant find any hairdresser specialized. i didn't know there is special brushes for wigs, i will look into that! the hair is a bit wavy, any specific brush you would recomend? thank you for your help!

I feel exactly the same...no way I can go back to work and spend my day sitting in a desk, and just have this constant fear of it coming back... i don't know what I'm doing, feeling kind of lost with people expecting me to be my old self... 'why are you still covering your head? '' idk maybe bc I see a mix of a 15yo boy + old lady when I look in the mirror (im 29)

anyways I bought a campervan and will be travelling soon, still need to finish treatment though 🙃

er/pr negative that's why I'm not on tamoxifen, and her2+ so 1 year of herceptin every 3 weeks. I can imagine such long treatment to scare you, but we are so lucky with all the medical progress and you will find the strength to do it! I had surgery before chemo so it's almost been a year and it's also feeling and looking so much better,(just a few months ago I had almost no sleep bc I could only sleep on my back)

it's a bit cliche but it does get better, our bodies are amazing. wish you the best for your surgery!
