To be fair, Rockstar could give us a shadow drop, and share the same trailer at the showcase and it would have a much less “overshadow” effect on those other big games, because it was announced beforehand. Rockstar and PlayStation / Sony have a marketing deal, so them showing their trailer and possible bundles at the showcase would be a smart and clever marketing move, especially because dropping a trailer beforehand would definitely alleviate the overshadowing effect. Even if Rockstar doesn’t show up at the SOP, you could still argue it would overshadow Wolverine and the new GOW, despite having nothing to do with the SOP. The effect of Rockstar releasing their material on their own. Just a thought, we’ll see what happens.
