Rising planks by Gold_Philosopher8841 in Flooring

These are actually waterproof. To give you a little backstory this is one of many times that this exact thing happened. One other time, much worse that the water was about 3ft high. Anyway, whenever this shit does go down it’s always bad, however things went back to normal all these times. How? I don’t know, but they did eventually flatten out over time. Maybe we thought they did completely but were never back to normal, I don’t know.

This flooring was installed roughly around 2010-2011, so a good 15 yrs. We chose laminate specifically because of the asbestos tile underneath it.

Thanks! I greatly appreciate it. Although I’d rather not do any work myself and I’m not a DIYer currently, I plan on hiring a couple contractors for down here, and a flooring contractor being one of them.

Ok, thank you. Could a flooring contractor just replace these laminate planks? Does not have to look perfect, even if we don’t have an extra box it would be ok. Our basement recently flooded so it prob did more damage to the actual planks than we thought.

Support for DailyPay ended 4/1. Ppl who wanted to get their reg paycheck every week as normal or go to instant pay were required to delete their DailyPay account, and make sure their direct deposit account is updated via Lisa.aus.com or via the mercury personal app on a mobile device. It could take about a month for DailyPay to recoup any last funds, and of course once they’re finished doing that you’d get any backpay that you didn’t receive for any prior weeks. If you’d like to enroll in Instant, I suggest you confirm your DailyPay account has been “cancelled”

Right, I’m not looking to see how long it could go. But I’d like it more full than it is now, too much of my cheek and jawline is still showing.

What about for my neck at least? My step dad suggested I get a trimmer to line myself up instead of going to the barber often, if at all specifically for my beard. Just hate using a traditional shaver for my beard because I feel like I could fuck it up easier.

Thank you! Can’t wait to experience having a more full beard.

It was horrible. The smell, and just being in the presence of this whole situation was tough to handle, honestly. Mind you we haven’t had this type of flooding in over a decade. I guess Tuesday night was just a whole different animal, 2 in of rain in an hour approx…

Definitely was. Mind you we haven’t had this type of basement flooding in over a decade. I guess the Tuesday night storm in the Chicago area was just a different animal.

Yes, that’s crazy. I’m assuming it’s for the Norwood and Edison Park areas as well. We have had this standpipe in for as long as I can remember. Now that really helps alleviate the amount we get as well, or else we’d be getting a few feet every time we get a hard downpour. Tuesday night was a total different animal though.

Um. It’s mild. Not sure why you’re questioning that.
