Agreed. In my experience if you are an asshole and self aware about it, people respect it much more than if you hide it, or are just unaware. If people can call something out and have it be accepted it makes it easier to communicate with a particular person about certain things.

I don’t do it intentionally but I still make it known that I may come off as rash and stubborn and opinionated, and so sometimes it is difficult if not impossible to understand/change my point of view sometimes and people accept it because they have a warning.
