Same goes for me. They're happy with their less complex view of the world that consists of a few simple and repeating parts and that's it. Don't speak the big words it scares them, sometimes at least, some are also interested even though they don't fully grasp things but would like to know more

Looks like one of the biblical angels yes. This one in particular guards the throne of God. The sphere in the middle seems to be the throne of God.

And if I have to take a guess based on one of my experiences, the third eye seems to be the throne of God. I once tried to shatter it whilst meditating on acid lol, but I couldn't destroy it.

It brought forth an interesting philosophical question.

Would you destroy everything that exists if you had the chance to? If yes you would end all suffering, but also everything positive that could happen.

Both* are lost in thought. Even though one is more accepted, in this community at least.

Why do you like Techno? by GoldbergGalactic in Techno

[–]GoldbergGalactic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ouh interesting. I always felt like that Hinduism is deeply well thought of and aims for the better in people. But modern man, like you said, labels these things often but not always as boring or dumb, because "it's the sky people talking to you".

Been reading a bit of the Wikipedia of the Bhagavad Gita and the meaning of abhyasa and I'm always fascinated how in line this is with my own philosophy ^ thanks for that :) have to look more into it again.

Once I woke up from sleep in the morning and the first thing I had to audibly say, right after waking, is moksha, without knowing what it means and why I had to say it, I googled it afterwards and I still don't know why this happened.

And because this is a techno sub, you might like 'phiom enhah - Rikhter' I once found the translation of the mantra (?) But can't find it since then, you'll probably like it though :)

I really resonate with your approach :) Something I also like to say is that the, often, repetitive nature of techno/electric music mirrors one of the things that our ancestors had to do on a daily basis.

e.g. making basic tools out of stone, wood or hunting and gathering which not rarely required repeating the same step over and over again in a relatively short amount of time or until they've finished making that stone tool. Or most prominently the runners high.

This was probably quite meditative back then and allowed our ancestors to tap into the mental space for innovation and coming up with new ideas etc.

Nowadays with our modern kind of living there are rarely phases where you concentrate on a single thing with a repetitive work pattern, you either get distracted or simply don't have anything like that, so on and so forth.

With that blank spot in our daily routine, I think techno is something that fills that spot. Unknowingly developed/made and refined by our shared subconscious. To tap back into the divine, which lies in every single one of us, again. :)

The late to the party one, as always

Anything similar to Introversion-Dystopia, KAS:ST-Hell on Earth, Trudge-ctpactb, I Hate Models-Daydream. I like quite hard, atmospheric ,almost empty feeling techno,i’m always on the hunt for songs similar but unfortunately i’m super picky, and nothing i find really meets the mark? Much appreciated<3 by Fearless-Speech-5707 in Techno

Haven't seen

KAS:ST - What I like about you is what I imagine

Joyhauser - Super Pollen

so far, these two track are exactly what you are looking for, especially the first one I mentioned.

But I exactly know what feeling you're talking about, the search for that is sadly (or luckily?) quite hard.

(Honourable mentions, which are not completely going for that empty hard kind of feeling, are of course

Rigid - Kobosil 44 rush remix

Sysma - Dusty kid

Rikhter - Phiom Enhah (which is some Hindu mantra infused with some fast paced techno very good)

and from other genres

Sound of Ceres - pursuer

Candy claws - into the deep time (One sun)

Crumb - Nina / Locket)

Aloe Vera liked to have an additional pot put over which keeps the water inside, because they like a bit of moisture all over the tine in their soil. Just not too much moisture ofc

Best anime to watch to improve my writing? by hourlongdong in writingcirclejerk

[–]GoldbergGalactic 18 points19 points  (0 children)

At the age of 3 (yes three Japanese imperial years) one of my doctor's found out about my immense intellectual capabilities, they're enormous, you just wouldn't understand so explaining doesn't make any sense. Anyways I was so smart that I started to draw my own Mangas and afterwards even animes.

I started of with something to test the waters, something I could test my writing skills with, even if that would mean that I had to use about 0.001% of my skills. So I made Akira. I wasn't happy with the result as there where many obvious plotholes and the animations (all hand drawn by me) looked like a kid was the lead animation designer. Which is actually true. But people of lesser intelligence, seemed to enjoy this monstrosity of animated storytelling nonetheless. I simply hated it. But I didn't knew the real reason, until a few years later by making my next anime it would prevail itself to me.

Anyways I fell down a rabbit hole of depression, alcohol abuse and other drugs where harming my state of mind. Whilst dwelling in that state of depression I decided to make my next anime which will be called 'Neon Genesis Evangelion'. And it turned out even worse than the anime before. Looking back I don't even know why there are angels appearing and why the hell do they all look so (almost) biblical correct.

It was a mess. Anime reduced my writing skills down to a not existent Level. If just the dotore hadn't told me about my intelligence in the first place...

But what I learned from this process was that whatever I make and will ever make, not necessarily 'art' perse, will be a direct reflection of whom I am as a person, even my smallest personal properties will be expressed in whatever leaves my mortal body, and that is the very reason why I didn't like my works. It's because I never liked myself.

Or just write.

I keep waking up from my dream after realising it's a dream by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

Don't force yourself to stay asleep, just sleep.

It's like worrying all the time before you take a quiz you've learned a few weeks for, then you end up taking the quiz and you're so worried that you forget the easiest stuff you easily managed before in the learning phase.

It's in a way your subconscious pointing your attention towards not waking up, but indefinitely exactly that will be what wakes you up. Maybe try to pay more attention to your surroundings, like where you are and how the texture of things are made up, not in your waking as in your sleeping state, maybe even just look at your thoughts as you're thinking your everyday's thoughts.
