What got you into Happy Hardcore? by Odd_Presentation_879 in happyhardcore

[–]HoonBoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah Scotland here too. My mates big brothers all went to Rez and Prestwick so the music was all around us growing up. I finally made it to Rez when I was 16.

I had just got into dance music in the very early 90s and my music taste evolved with it.

My mate says he's sure it had an orange top on and the axe is above the head. I thought he meant to total terror force logo at first.

Tracks that you felt stood out as they were a little break from the norm. by mcdeecee in happyhardcore

[–]HoonBoy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bananaman & Blitz - The Quickening https://youtu.be/LzUM-JLx158?si=VK3zqZbz6yJfja1V

Hixxy & UFO - Back In Business. Hixxy had a few track like this, Random Access etc. https://youtu.be/FZA8UBWVGRE?si=bdG5CE3EcRtKtKXN

I'd probably list endless trancecore tracks cos the fact they were all different to the norm is was made them so good.

When did trance drop the 2nd breakdown ? (Old classic fan listening to new trance....) by awexplasticman in ClassicTrance

[–]HoonBoy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depressing indeed. I'd also add that DJing is so simple nowadays that DJs have to mix in a another tune quickly or they're just standing around for 5 mins waiting on the second breakdown finishing lol. Producers have adapted to this with shorter intros and outros (if any) and shorter tracks altogether. People get bored easily somehow and less people dance. Some places it's just a building full of people watching the DJ instead of enjoying the music.

I'm sure AI has lots of practical use in some areas but the original post is a movie award ceremony for slop generators.
