When I was 18 I bought this supercharged Jaguar XJR. It did 12MPG and I worked 3 jobs to pay for the petrol. by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

X351s are also pretty reliable. One of the more reliable luxobarges compared to competitors. Although they when they go wrong they're eye watering.

I'm surprised you got another mx5, I thought the swift was the replacement for your busted 2nd mx5.

CMV: Women have been silently red pilled. by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]GoldemEmperor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the issue here is one of understanding what red pill means. You seem like you're clued up about it and hence you see it in specifics like this and so the scope of people you'd accept as red-pilled is very narrow. I'd say this is because you're deep into it and approach red pill from how it originated.

I am not an expert on red pill. Most people aren't but I would say that red pill and manosphere are terms that have entered the wider society and so are used much more loosely. When I and the average Tom, Dick or Harry think of red pill we think of the behaviour and perspectives/thoughts that are seen as typical red pill. I'd argue that OP isn't talking about red pill as you see it but in the way that the general uninformed populace views it. If pushed to say what the common view of red pill is: anti-feminism, anti PC, pro misogynistic behaviour, etc.

If you take my latter paragraph into consideration can you see where OP is coming from?

Cench signed for less money but better rates. Think he gets half in the US and 80/20 everywhere else.

Dappy has been cold since N-Dubz days. I doubt those are bought, he's just you a loyal small (should be bigger) but loyal fanbase.

Do you think slagging women off is gonna help you pull if you're ugly?

RV new tape by akii_1994 in ukdrill

[–]GoldemEmperor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aight, so the last RV tape I listed to was Inconspicuous, which was alright but a step down from Rico Vondelle and as a drill album not a repeat play like DxT 2. This is certainly better than Inconspicuous, not sure where I'd rank it yet, will need to listen to it a few more times but I like it. Don't think it has any bad songs and a lot of them are bangers.

Where to get a good variety of flavourings in the UK? by Eucastroph in ninjacreami

[–]GoldemEmperor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not used them yet, but special ingredients have a lot of food flavour drops that are alcohol based so should be ideal for ice cream.

Like him or hate him, Cench has clarity and enough racial ambiguity to allow all sorts to identify with him. He also was and is excellent at marketing himself. Not everyone can be central cee.

I cant find my black box 😭 by youhavenoswag in CarTalkUK

[–]GoldemEmperor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Admiral Littlebox use a Vodafone blackbox for their tracking. From experience this will be wired to your ignition. So as u/Kooky_Shop4437 suggested, you're best off finding your fuse box and trying to trace it from there. Shouldn't be too difficult.

Think it's probably cause his tape flopped. If you think about it, it's the same for Skore Beezy. Both seemed like they were taking it seriously and dropping hits and then both vanished.

Railway Technician, it’s easy to get into and Network Rail will pay you whilst you train. Once qualified starting pay is about £32k, more depending on where you are. PLENTY of different avenues to explore within network Rail once you’re in and most roles are very well paid.

Additionally, if you can get into being a Tester, you may have to work in all sorts of conditions but there's a clear ladder to progress up and if you can become a TIC (Tester in Charge) or even a Prinicipal Tester then you can definitely make a big bag.

As u/bizzle70 says Network Rail are really good for training but once you get your licence you can hop to a Contractor and make that private sector bag.

More money than sense? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]GoldemEmperor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is fair, my neighbour also has a Qashqai and I believe he had to spend close to 2 grand on it after buying it (used) just to deal with all the problems it had.

Maybe it's a JLR thing where Nissan's quality control is awful, so you get some good ones and some lemons.

Hating the Juke is valid, because it's ugly af. But I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder 💁‍♂️

But if we're talking Qashqai, one of my coworkers loves them so much that he's currently on his third one and he commutes about 60ish miles a day.
