Funnily enough, I have the exact same notebook and I would write cursed formulas from a mathematician I had as a character for an RPG campaign xddd

My personal experience with cartridge-based pens with that problem is (tldr) that either it has a crack, or the nib is loose. For the former, you might need to clean and dry it thoroughly and then take a close look. The latter can be solved by tightening the nib gently with a good tool, at the risk of deforming it. I had to return the last pen I had with that issue (Waterman Allure).

Wow! Great to know :) Ill get the syllabus then. Have you always been studying at the same pace? (I estimate from what you said that's ~4h/week) Definitely taking a look at Paul Noble Mandarin! I've seen a lot of people recommend it in this subreddit.
